It wasn't long before he moved to the Brussels bar, where he ended up with attorney Philippe Van de Velde. The pragmatic approach clicked and after a short time Willem took over the firm and moved to the Avenue Louise in Brussels: an "atypical" lawyer among the rather "typical" firms. In 2022, he and Mike moved into a loft in Molenbeek, which they converted and furnished as an office location.

More on his storyMike is a race of lawyers in his own right. After graduating in law, he went to work as a salesman at Canon. There he advanced to commercial director. His true passion - the legal profession - remained in the background for 13 years, until he met Willem. Mike not only sold him a printer, but convinced him to do business together, which led to a particularly efficient and complementary collaboration.
